PTO Membership

The Lexington PTO would like to welcome you to Lexington Elementary and to invite you to join our membership. Our school is very special and we think the PTO s one of the reasons! We conduct many activities throughout the year including classroom parties, Fall Festival, Book Fair, and various fundraisers. The PTO provides financial support for items such as: Field Trips, Classroom Behavior Rewards/Prize Cart Program and Field Day shirts for all students. We host a Fall meeting/Open House and a Spring Meeting/Sports Award Banquet, as well as an appreciation luncheon for the staff.

Membership in the PTO gives you several benefits:

• Eligibility to vote in Spring Board Member elections
• Eligibility to be Head Room Parent (selection not guaranteed)
• Eligibility to attend class field trips (attendance not guaranteed)
• Volunteering opportunities
• Current information on events and activities

Membership is $2.00 per adult or $5.00 for your Family members.   Memberships are taken throughout the school year. The cut-off for eligibility for field trip attendance is the end of the second six weeks grading period. Memberships will be accepted after that date but without that benefit. (Families that move to our school after that cut-off will still be eligible to attend field trips if they become members.)
